Check and verify you have a fault free image/iso. Don't drag and drop the image, instead look for the option to create a data cd from an image. Also try not to burn it faster than 4x.

Have a look at the CD - you should see a number of files/directories. If you see a file called something.iso, you wrote te iso as a file to the disk. Same story as Nexus is relaying

Check the cd.

Insert the cd into the drive and see if you only have one file ending with .iso. an .iso file is the image of a cd and not a file so you usually have to open the cd burning software and burn a cd image.

No roxio will do the job, you just need to use the option where you can select how to burn data to your disc.

can you help me find it?? cause everytime i go to burn a cd all it says is "burn these files to a cd"

Start Creator Classic, then choose Burn from disc image file, locate where you have saved your .iso file, select it, then click ok, now click the burn disc icon (don't forget to adjust your burn speed if you can, down to 4x).

No it isn't. You may have a boot floppy in your floppy drive. There's no need to disable the floppy drive, just make sure you have selected your first boot device as the cdrom. Before booting from the cd, check it in windblows explorer, you should see files and folders on the disc, if you see a single .iso file, you haven't done it correctly.

Here's a freeware easy to use burning program: http://www.imgburn.com/

If you use ImgBurn the option you want is Write image file to disc.
