burn software : free or GNU/GPL not KDE

Because my computer doesn't have much memory I haven't installed KDE.
I'm looking for a burn utility such as k3b (which requires KDE, as I understand it -- hard luck!

Thanks in advance,

k3b only requires the kde libraries, not the full kde install.

What about X-CD-Roast? It's not as good as k3b but it's a decent program.

Many thanks for your replies.

Concerning kb3: I haven't installed KDE at all -- Linux by Libranet 2.8.1 (debian-based distro) gives you the option to install or not to install packages. So I'm not sure I have the KDE libraries.

Can these libraries be installed through apt-get (I should think so) or am i going to get a string of unresolved dependencies.

I supppose an easy option would have been to install KDE and then unistall it -- possibly the libraries would have remained on the disk ?
