bunch of KDE 3.3 questions

Hi, got a lot of trivial KDE questions.

1 How do you make the wallet thing never appear again? Or at least not every time you enter some values.

2 How come my kfloppy doesn't format? What do I do to fix? Disk will format in Windows.

3 When I use Konqueror, it has location bar and a google search bar, but the google is only there sometimes? whats up with that? when I type google into the location bar it comes up again.

4 Why doesn't find files work for devices? will not search cd/dvd rom

I may have a few answers for you........... maybe.

1. I should think that this would be solved by going to the KDE control center (in the applications, or 'start' in Win terms, menu on my system, but I use FC3 so it may be different) and going to the 'security and privacy' area, then 'KDE wallet', and "unchecking" the 'enable KDE wallet subsytem' box. You may want to just mess with the options here and see if you can't fix it without turning it off (if you even care about it, other wist kill it).

2. The first thing to check is to make sure the disk is not mounted, as it doesn't seem to work otherwise. Second thing I found this, but I don't think your problem is this severe:

And my last idea on this is to update kdeutils (think thats the package name) and try again.

3. Really can't help with this, but I have noticed that this bar is only there when you are using Konquer to access the internet and not you HD, as you said. If I had to guess, I would say that it had to do with setting up the 'view profiles' under 'settings'.

4. Umm.... other than making sure its mounted, I have no idea.

Sorry I couldn't be of any more help, but I hope this gets you somewhere.
