build gcc-4.1.2 on a 64-bit RH EL4

My 64-bit RH EL4 server came with a gcc 3.4.3 install. After searching the RH network, I came to a conclusion that they (RH) don't have any RPM for gcc-4.1.2. So, I had no choice but trying to build gcc-4.1.2 from the source. However, ../configure complains that it could not find gmp.h file. Has anyone encountered the same problem before? Thanks.

Do a search for the gcc4 rpms, as this is what they are named for EL4. I found one for CentOS here:
