build error - can't find kernel source

I've just installed the latest Red Hat/Fedora version (2.6.11-1.1369_FC4).
I'm trying to install the linux-wlan package. Since I can't even get the thing built I thought my question belonged here and not in 'wireless networks'. I have it unpackaged. The 'make config' command bring me through a series of prompts, one of which is for the path to my Linux source directory. The default that appears is '/lib/modules/2.6.11-1.1369_FC4/build'. Accepting this gives an error message, 'Source tree is incomplete or missing, configuration failed'. Have I failed to do something in the Linux install? That file path does exist (it's a link) but it goes nowhere. Should I be using a different file path?
Thanks for any help,
PickledHerring

Hi, you should install the your kernel-source from CD(or iso), since by default, it won't be installed. Just open Fedora's software package managing program, and try to find it out, then install, after that your link will go somewhere rather than nowhere.
