Bug with Log in screen.
 

Hi guys, it's been a long time since I visited LQ. How things go? I reinstaled ubuntu because of a bug. When I was surfing the net, after two or three minutes I was sent to the log in screen, It happened a couple of times, I restarted but nothing... So here I am. I remember it happened after an update. Don't remember which one, and I couldn't find answers on the Internet because of the bug. So I'm asking for your help, to prevent it from happening again, if it does I won't be able to search. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

sure sounds like you may have hit ctrl alt backspace but if not it is a crashed xorg. may want to start looking there. never reinstall because of a bug. Just update.
every system has bugs it is just finding them.
