First off, can you get into BT? You can possibly boot up on LiveCD, and if the worst comes to the worst, just reinstall. But do you get any error messages when you boot up? If you google for them, you might be able to find a solution (if you don't, and
only if you don't after searching) then post back in this thread and I'm sure people will be more than happy to help.
However, I don't think you should be running anything like "make install". I would read the
original thread and use that script.
