Question Bsnl Broadband Internet configuration in RHEL 5

I would like to know how to configure the Bsnl Broadband connection in RHEL 5.
I am having Seimens C2110 Modem which can be connected to the system via an ethernet port.
in windows i have configured the modem to work in pppoe mode.
how to make it available in the case of RHEL 5?
if possible please give some useful link which contains the GUI of the processes involved.
when i tried to configure the network, there are 2 ethernet ports in my system,
one is in the motherboard, which fail due to a lightning and another one which is an ethernet card.
how could i know which one i would configure and how?

Please help me in this matter.
