Browsing with Ubuntu and Huawei 1003A

Dearf friends,

I have just loaded ubuntu linux on my desktop. I also have windows xp. I have a Quidway W1000 series wireless access device (Huawei make) I have connected the modem to my desktop through usb. I now need to cnfigure my ubuntu to be able to browse the net in the same fashion. The CD did not have any driver specific to linux. Shall be greatful for a step by step guide to be able to browse with ubuntu.
