Browsing Problem in FC2


Hi there,

I recently install fedora core 2, i creat dialup connection with kppp client.

Now i am facing problem, i successfully connect to isp when i browse any site this message came

"WWW.ANYSITE.COM COULD NOT BE FOUND. PLEASE CHECK THE NAME AND TRY"

every web site address i gave same message came. ps help me in this regard.

You may not be getting DNS resolution. After connecting, check to make sure that KPPP has added at least one line into your /etc/resolv.conf file to handle DNS lookups. It should look something like this...

nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

If it isn't in there, you may need to manually add one.
