Broken X after changed monitor settings?

I succesfully installed support for my friend's ATI card for SuSE 10, but being the engineer he is, he had to change the monitor settings via YAST. Now, his system will only boot to command prompt and after "startx" command, it says "no screen" or something like that. Now, how can he (or I, most likely) return to working settings? What files do need to be edited? Is it just /etc/xorg.conf?

Hello!

Try to solve this problem by using sax2.

Greetings

That did the trick. It was something called "DTMS", which my friend had activated, whatever that is. Thank you.
