Broken packages linux mint 16
 

HI, the problem I have is when I try to update Linux Mint 16 I get the following message ' you have 15 broken packages, use the broken package filter to locate them'
How do I locate and use the broken package filter, and what do I do once the packages are located?

I am not on my Mint laptop but I find the filter in synaptic package in Mint linux.

Thanks once more synaptic manager worked perfectly, all my broken packages have been restored.
