Broken ext3 filesystem?

Hello everyone. I recently installed Puppy Linux 2.00 to a freshly formatted ext3 partition. The system seems to work fine. However, when I examined this partition in GParted (a partition manager) it reported this error:

statvfs (on): No such file or directory

Also, no values are shown in the free and used disk space fields. Does this mean that the filesystem is corrupted? If so, can it be fixed? Any advice would be appriciated. Thanks.

P.S. You might find somthing to interest you on my new website:

try checking it with cfdisk it will look something like this

#cfdisk /dev/<hard drive letters>

under hard disk letters it will be something like hda (hda is what mine is)
then it would look like

#cfdisk /dev/hda
