broadcasting a display from one machine to another machine

I have a slideshow running from a bare terminal (application fbi) on one machine.

If I setup another machine (Ubuntu), can I replicate my slideshow (my display) on a remote machine?

Thanks!

Same network or on another remote network? Public internet between them? This will influence advice given.

The connection would be within a university network.

If the network rules permit it, you could use a VNC. This article provides a pretty good overview: https://www.techrepublic.com/article...rver-on-linux/

It's been a while since I played with a VNC, but I used the x11vnc server when I did and it worked very nicely.
