broadband connection problem in opensuse 10.3
Dear friends,
I have broadband internet connection in my house and I am using opensuse 10.3 with windows xp in my pc. The broadband connection is working fine with xp but when I am going to use it in opensuse it doesnot work..The broadband connection has a router and I am using LAN cards..I am using Yast to configure it and the network connection automatically detect the ethernet card as etho0 by DHCP...but still I cannot access the internet using firefox...please help me in this regards:confused: |
what is your config for DSL Devices and for Providers in yast(under Network Devices->DSL)?
also try using kinternet to see if you're connected or to select a connection and connect. if kinternet doesn't connect you to the internet, try looking at its log(right click on system tray icon->View Log) |
broadband connection problem in open suse 10.3
And if you,re broadband is connected with a Ethernet card check the settings of you,re ethenet card, suse has first to detect the ethernet card and then the broadband connection
So if the settings of the ethernet card is wrong there is no broadband all the best |
