Bot problem with Suse 9.1 and XP
 

Hello...I'm running winxp home and just installed Suse 9.1. Install went well, but now I can't get into windows. The boot screen comes up and shows the 4 choices..linux, windows, safe, floppy..if I choose windows I get a black screen with the following at the top...

root (hd0,0)
filesystem type unknown, partition type 0X7
chainloader +1

Can anyone help me out?? Thanks in advance

LOL,... I thought from the thread description that you had a bot that infected both windoze XPee AND Linux,... I was thinking,... WHAT?!?!?

The problem is a parted issue. Essentially the quick fix is to enable LBA in the bios, and not set the disk to auto...

There is an alternate solution if that isn't do-able.
