bootloader problems
 

i installed mandrake 10.0
the lilo bootloader is not booting up the system
is displays "L 01 01 01 01 ......" and hangs the system

i tried grub also but it displays "GRUB hard disk error" and hangs the system

i can boot normally from a floppy into linux mandrake

i also have win xp running smoothly on the system
i repaired my mbr using the xp boot cd to boot into xp
now i use the floppy to boot into linux
please help me install a bootloader which can boot into linux!

Boot from the first Mandrake CD, press F1 and type in rescue at the prompt. From there you can re-install the bootloader.
