Booting without fstab?

Is there any way to skip my fstab file? I've screwed up my fstab...

Thanks

What Distro are you using? I use Slackware and they have a Live CD. You just need to boot to it and mount the partition that /etc is on. Fix the file and then you are in business.

Forgot, I do not believe that it is possible to boot your system without it.

I'm using Debian 3.1 'sarge' ... there must be a way to mount my filesystem.. The problem is that i use a s-ata harddisk. Which means that my bootcd /bootfloppy has to support it..

Anyone else?
