Question booting questions!!!!!!!!!

a friend of mine has installed linux suse 8.2. she uses GRUB as a boot manager. there is a /boot partition. however she has an empty FAT32 partition so no she decides she has to install there win2k...and i'm asking won't this screw the linux booting and how to fix it, or would the win2k boot manager detect the presence of linux and everything's allright???
this is very urgent!
i would appreciate any kind of help!!!

Installing Windows will make SuSE stop booting, so - open up Yast and make her a boot floppy. Make sure it works - then install Win. Afterwards, reboot using the floppy, open Yast again and reinstall lilo.
