I have a problem when my linux (9.0) boots up , its really taking so much time when compared to other linux systems , particularly at loopback interfaces

Try to specified the IP address, don't let it to get IP from DHCP server.
And by the way, what is linux 9.0???
The latest version at www.kernel.org is 2.6.15+
Where did you find the linux 9.0???
