Booting Linux on Windows XP

Hi,

I have Windows XP and Fedora 10 on my system. Please let me know what I have to do so that I can boot Fedora on Windows, i.e. Windows host and Fedora guest? I want to use Fedora as an Application on Windows. Both OS are installed on different partition.

Thanks,
Guru

Are you asking me or suggesting to use vmware?

Hi,

You can use VirtualPC, Virtualbox, VMWare, ... to install your Fedora in a virtual environment. Running it straight from the already installed version on a separate partition, to my knowledge is not possible. You can also, if you don't want a virtual solution, install it on a USB stick with Pendrive and run it directly from the USB/external HD.

Kind regards,

Eric

rik is obviously suggesting you to use vmware. There are other virtualization packages as well that you may want to look into. Google will help you find one. But VMware is quite popular.
