booting issue

I am a newbie and posted a thread on the Software section that would probably serve better on this page. You can find it under the subject "Boot issue". Either way, there is a post that someone made that is similar to my problem. Yet after trying some of the suggestions people made to him, I still can not resolve my problem.

Can someone take the time to walk me through a fix?

ja

you'll have to be a bit more specific. what error messages are you getting? what have you tried apart from what was recommended in the other thread?

Original thread: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=138796

Please do not start threads alluding to an already existing thread. It is bad manners. If you still have problems with your booting into RL5 (and it looks very much like a drivers issue) then please continue in your original thread. Thank you.
