Booting
When i turn on my linux box it goes straight to the linux command line interface. Then i have to boot Red Hat from there. Is there anyway that i can get it to boot into redhat automatically when i turn on my computer. Also my /etc/inittab initdefault line is already set to 5. I've been trying to figure it out for a while. any suggestions?

It looks there's an error and that's why it boots into console. Look into logs (especially /var/log/xdm-error.log or any with similar name, about X or xdm or kdm), maybe there will be something.
