bootdisk needed

I'm almost ready to go! I got my two Slackware .iso's burned and I've done enough reading to have a good handle on things! But my computer won't read the first CD! I've gone to the Bios and set it to read CDs before the HDD but it still went to Windows so I got rid of Windows and it still won't read from the CD. I've tried creating a boot disk but am coming up short: the bare.i is to big for a floppy and rawrite.exe goes nowhere! Any Suggestions/Help is greatly appreciated!
