bootable SuSE dvd

I was wondering if it is possible to make a bootable dvd from the ftp-downloaded version of SuSE 8.2.

i tried opening the boot.iso from the ftp and inject the whole suse installation tree in it and make it an iso image, burn them on cd, it won't boot properly (error with the boot image size or soemthing like that)

please if you have any hint on how to do it (i read all the faqs with redhat's dvd making - they are too specific with the psyche-iso filelist, etc.) and about a boot.cat (which doesn't exist in the suse distribution) ) please feel free to tell me thanks in advance
