Bootable CD Ubuntu.

I just downloaded and burned the newest version of ubuntu the LTS version.

But when I restart my computer, my computer doesn't recognize it as a bootable DVD, is there something im missing to make it bootable?

Did you do the md5 checksum as instructed on the website? Did you burn it as an iso image?

Hi, Starius. I'm going to ask you some obvious questions so bear with me. Did you change the DVD drive to boot before the hard drive? Have you checked the DVD for defects? Here's a tutorial on using MD5 to verify that the cd's contents are intact. Let me know how it goes!
