boot w/ iso file being read off HD

ive tried to find myself a CD to burn onto. when i can find one its fine.... but thats not my question. my question is when i go and boot into windows is there a program ( not Alcohol *%) that can boot and read .iso files off the hard drive when we go to reboot... and it would give us a choice of booting to windows or the emulated cd (.iso)... any sugestions:Pengy:

i doubt it.. I've never heard of such a program

Just to explain why it's most likely it doesn't exist
The program would require NTFS support to be able to get to the ISO.. so it would have to be a recent opensource program (unlikely since I don't think there are that many who would use it).. or something microsoft let someone make.. and since the only purpose it would serve is to install OSes other than windows I doubt they would allow such a bootloader to be made.

it would emulate the cd drive to put it plane and simple and read .iso files

I suppose you could use Daemon tools to mount the image file. The installers will autorun as soon as you mount it, However i have only gotten to the install screenwhich asks to reboot and then the prog. is shut off and you have to turn it back on. you could enable it on startup in services.msc but i havent tried this.

okay i tried it and you can mount the image with the daemon tools and get the installation screen, however, on reboot the XP session continues as normal. I dont know why this is cause all programs i download that are in ISO format, i install with this method. Will continue to find a workaround for this as i need it also
