"Boot Screen problem?"

I am newbie to linux.I have a problem with dual-boot screen.I had two OS-Windows XP and Mandriva Linux(2007). I have deleted the linux partition ,but still it shows me a dual-boot screen. Now I have only Win Xp, I don't want this dual-boot screen. Boot your computer. On drive C, there is a file named boot.ini

Edit this file and delete the enetry of Linux.
That's it. Now when you boot the computer you will find only Window-xp option
