Boot Problem Mandrake 9.0

I try to boot to Linux Mandrake 9.0
and this is what I get:

kmod:failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k ide-cd, errno=2
mount:error 6 mounting ext2 flags kernel panic : No init found.
Try passing ini t = option to kernel

What does this mean and what should I do??

Thanks in advance
