Unhappy Boot Problem

when I boot into Linux, my firewall isn't booting correctly, it's trying to boot iptables that haven't been setup by my firewall and now if passes loading my firewall whatsoever. So I have to logon to root and load it manually before my network and my internet comes back up, any idea whats wrong?

What linuxdistribution are you using? What firewall?

Knoppix which is mounted to the Hard-Drive, and I'm not sure of the firewall though.
