boot menu no longer showing
I installed fedora core and all that, was happy and such. I had windows xp on another drive, and had to update that to professional for some school programs. Ever since the update, I haven't gotten the dual boot menu anymore.
I don't want to reinstall Fedora, especially now that I've got it running like I like it, so any help would be appreciated. |
The windows update procedure overwrote your mbr (master boot record) where your boot loader was located.
You now have to fix the mbr under linux (reconfigure boot loader). Search the forum for how to do this, you'll find plenty threads. |
