Question Boot Loader


If I install WinXP using NTFS, will Linux still be able to replace
NTBTLDR?

Linux uses LILO or Grub, so it shouldn't need to overright NTBTLDR.

yes, it can replace it just fine. I recommend you do, as LILO or GRUB can boot many Operating Systems, where Windows Bootloader can boot one.

Yes - further - a typical place to put LILO or GRUB is the MBR - LILO or GRUB can dual boot XP and a Linux distribution with ease.
