Boot issues after resizing HDD. System does not boot.

Contradictory. Grubs function is to boot the system so if it worked it would boot. Do you see the Grub menu? What was the setup previously with your two systems? Windows first, Kubuntu first, just the two partitions. If you could post more details it would help, the bootinfoscript run from a Linux Live CD would help if you posted the output, a results.txt file.
