You could start by not using one long run-on sentence and using punctuation so your post is more readable. You would also need to indiate which Linux distribution you are using and whether it is the only operating system. If it is not, what else do you have. Have you checked to see if you have any available space on whichever partition you get the error on. More details will help.

I dont think this thread is going to be useful to anyone.

Don't use Fedora 10. Thats from 6 years ago.

I am facing a similar dilemma the company I work with has state of the art IBM 702 running OS/360. Recently we've noticed that whenever we try to run a "Hello world" program the system pops up following error.

Code:

Serial: 8250/16550 driver, 4 ports, IRQ sharing enabled
s3c2410-uart.0: s3c2410_serial0 at MMIO 0x50000000 (irq = 70) is a S3C2410

# The system ran out of memory try adding extra vaccum tubes, or wait for few decades and try executing this code on a shiny new thing they'll call ..... *wait what was it? inux, geenux, peanuts... maybe i'm too drunk to remember.
#Dropping to init level FUBAR

I don't see how the system's age could be of any hindrance, we haven't even gotten around to removing the bubble wrap. Any "geeks" please lend a hand, one more thing i almost forgot to mention is that how does this work? should i post my address so the fine folks here can send me letters containing their opinions and maybe a possible fix to my quandary also at work today this guy i work with got a fortune cookie saying "ARPANET"..huh whatever that means.

phil2758:

What I 'am going on about' is that you didn't post any useful information which would help you resolve your problem. I see you do know which operating system you have so that's a start. What szboardstretcher is saying is that your operating system, Fedora 10 is outdated and unsupported and no updates of any kind are available for it. He is not referring to your hardware. It's still possible to use Fedora but you won't get any updates.

Some useful information you could post is when you see the error about "no space" and hopefully, you would post the exact error. Usually when it says there is no space availabe, that means there is no space available. There are commands you can use to find out how much space is used/available on any partition. Do you know how to get that information?

Is your post a joke? Did you read what you posted?

I can't image you would see anything like that in any actual code output.
