Boot drops to a (initramfs) prompts/busybox
how to fix this issue? using ubuntu 12.04 LTS x64. i tried to connect bootable usb but no luck.

Perhaps you should first try a fsck on the root partition. Might save some bucks and some data.

Ext4fs - error loading journal
Looks like a corrupted file system, try running a check on that (sda1) file system, (as suggested by syg00).
