This seems not to be a linux question. Sounds more like you want to know how to tell you bios what device to boot from. Just after you turn the machine on some text should be displayed telling you which key to press to enter the bios settings. Common options are Del and F12.

Yeah, you could be better off installing a more mainstream or "regular" OS than Red Flag. Try Debian: www.debian.org

PS. And yes I assume that by "regular" you actually mean pirated MS Windows.

Dude you are wrong. I'm not such noob. Bios won't start. It automaticly starts red flag graphic screen with field for typing and by pressing enter it starts text os.... Seems like me that you have never seen an text os. And i wish to install genuine w7 and ubuntu 9.10 just to let you know.

Ok, sorry. I jumped to conclusions.

The bois starts, you just may not "see" it. Some bios don't display anything on the screen before booting the os. Did you try hitting all the usual keys that might get you into the bios? What is the machine? Did it come with an documentation?

I'm sure Misters Balmer and Shuttleworth would be pleased.

Everything on the web about this machine seems to be in Romanian!
Strange, since ASUS is Taiwanese and Red Flag is a Chinese distro.

Think language skills that I don't have might be useful here :-(

I wonder if it is a Linux bios implemented by Red Flag...
