Bookmarks in KDE

I am having some difficulties finding the location where the Bookmarks are stored for Konqueror.

I have found them at /home/"userdirectory"/.kde/share/apps/kfm

Where "userdirectory" is my directory.

The Bookmarks are saved as an .xml file and would be bookmarks.xml.
Is this correct?

Is there an easier way to export your bookmarks? And if so, how?

On my system it is located in the konqueror directory but you are correct in the name of the file.
>$ locate bookmarks.xml
To export your bookmarks open the bookmark editor (Bookmarks then Edit Bookmarks from Konqueror's menus) and from the file menu choose Export then choose the method you wish to use.
