book for linux begineers
can you suggest the book for linux begineers?
|
"Linux for Dummies" I can't stress this point enough.

This is a good online cli tutorial http://rute.2038bug.com/index.html.gz ie teaches you the cli environment & how to use it.
There's a lot of free to read books/manuals at www.linuxtopia.org Really depends on what you want to learn... have you got anything specific in mind? |
yess realted to linux admin for begineerss and also linux with ubuntu
|
i want to purchase online so tell me one best book for me??
|
Well, you'll need to be familiar with the cli, so check my first link.
The other link includes books on Ubuntu. I'd also point out that 1. Ubuntu is based on Debian, so most Debian stuff sahould work on Ubuntu. 2. The basics of Linux are pretty much the same for all distros, so don't get too hung up on that particular name when googling; just research the actual problem you are trying to solve to start with. |

I found Getting Started with Ubuntu helpful. It's for the most recent Long Term Support distribution. Free download.
http://files.ubuntu-manual.org/manua...%20edition.pdf The Linux Command Line has already been mentioned. But here is a thread about it. Free download. Just downloaded it myself. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ds-4175555377/ |
