Bluetoth running a startup
Hi, Can somebody tell me how to switch off bluetooth at startup.

Since you don't tell us anything about your hardware, version/distro of Linux, or what desktop environment you're using (if ANY), no, we can't. Are you dual booting or have you had windows on this machine before?
Do you mean at the hardware level or once Linux has started?
If hardware level, what is your hardware's make and model?
What is the linux distro and version?

The Bluetooth application device is searching for other bluetooth devices. I have to switch it off every time I boot Mint 18.1 64bit XFCE

gksudo xed /etc/rc.local and insert rfkill block bluetooth on the line before exit 0.
