Ok...what did you try to do with it? Why do you think it wasn't recognized?

You'll have to give some information if you'd like help. What are you trying to accomplish with it? What are you expecting to see? What desktop are you using?

Brand has a lot to do with it too. I bought a usb dongle for my wife's computer and spent all night fiddling with all kinds of things trying to get it to work (including trying a different distro). The next day I took it back to try a different brand (as is often the need for Linux) and found a Kodak branded one at a different store for $30 less. Worked as soon as I plugged it in.

re bluetooth usb dongle

Hi everyone! I am using a generic (unbranded). It works in windows but it won't work in puppy Linux 4.1.2 which prevents me from downloading/uploading data from/to my mobile phone. I would appreciate if somebody could help me make my usb works. Thank you.
