Thumbs up Blocking Specific webpage not the whole domain For all DNS client..


company has asked to block some pages on google.co.in. i can not block the entire domain. is there any way to block specific webpage like http://www.google.co.in/abc.hml ..from all DNS clients.

Are you using content or web filtering? DNS can be used to block the domains but I am not sure if urls can be blocked the same way. Also if a user somehow manages to change the DNS settings, you would not be able to control the settings then.

DNS can be used to block domains. If u want to block specific webpage may be u could try using transparent proxy.
Also most pages that google generates are dynamic. There is no guarantee that that blocked page may not pop up in some other "way". But if you insist that such pages exist, they sure do.
