Blackbox Background Disappearing

Ive been using "bsetbg" to set my background for blackbox, But It goes away everytime I close blackbox, So i put in my .blackboxrc script "session.screen0.rootCommand: bsetbg blah.jpg" but It doesnt load, I also tried putting it in my Style file, And still doesnt work.... Any other ways? Thanks!

If you're not in Blackbox, and not in another window manager (which would set a new background most likely), it seems logical to me that you're also not in X, and so wouldn't have a background.

Try removing the "session.screen0" part from the root command and see if that does what you want.

In "session.screen0.rootCommand: bsetbg blah.jpg", does blah.jpg include the full path name of the file?

Match yes, And to the other guy that answerd that was totally off of the question i asked.

I can think of two things that it might be.
1. You've accidentally misspelled the image's file name, or gotten the path wrong.
2. In fluxbox (which was taken from blackbox) there's a different command which can be included in the style file to set the background to a solid color or gradient. If this line appeared after the setbg command it would override it. Look for something similar to:
rootCommand: bsetroot -solid grey20

Good luck

Bah you know what i just noticed none of the "rootCommands' arnt working, Like if i switch a style it doesnt set the background... Not even a color or nothing.
