Black Squares everywhere Ubuntu 7.10
 

Hello.
Installed Gutsy Gibon, Compiz Fusion, Kiba-dock, screenlets... everything was ok, have been really enjoying the new system, but I dont know why I am now gettig black squares everywhere I turn...everywhere where it used to be white. Tryed turn off the effects, have checked the xorg.conf... Everything is working fine but the squares! Something gone wrong and I dont wanna to reinstall. Hope there is some solution. Thx.

Try removing kiba-dock, it has been known to produce such blocks in some cases. Most people nowadays use avant window navigator instead of kiba.

Did that solve the issue?

well everything is now OK without kiba-dock. Thx!
Will try install an older version supporting physics...
