Can you try to be a little more specific in your question as

could mean anything?

e.g.: program, version, every little detail helps.

just download *.torrent files and open them with either btdownloadgui.py or with btdownloadcurses.py

http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/FAQ.html

Basically, you need to find a file you want to download, and click on the link. That lets bittorrent know what you are looking for, and goes and gets it from lots of people. bittorrent is very different from programs like kazza. If you don't have any idea where to get a file, or want to practice, try http://www.redvsblue.com

I found torrents and i can download them, but the internet is going verry slow when i download.

i tried to set up a upload/download limt

normal i use "./btdownloadcurses.py afile.torrent" but than it has no limit

when i do "./btdownloadcurses.py" i get one of the options is "--max_upload_rate <arg>
maximum kB/s to upload at, 0 means no limit (defaults
to 0)
"

but when i do "./btdownloadcurses.py --max_upload_rate 9 afile.torrent" i get
"These errors occurred during execution:
[14:09:25] error: Too many args - 0 max.
run with no args for parameter explanations"

and when i do "./btdownloadcurses.py --max upload rate 9 afile.torrent"
i get
"These errors occurred during execution:
[14:10:03] error: option --max not a unique prefix
run with no args for parameter explanations"

does enyone know the correct commando?

thnx

lynx+bittorrent

Anyone That knows if it is possile to get lynx to work with bittorrent?
I run a slackware without any X and it would be cool to use lynx but i suppose it won't be possible.

Code:

btdownloadcurses.py http://host/file.torrent --max_upload_rate 3
Put the file URL first before the upload rate flag.

not directly but you can just download the .torrent files and after downloading them just open them using the btdownloadcurses.py blabla.torrent command its text based ...
