bios question
Need help again,

I'm trying install Linux on my new computer to see how's it work. But I'm stuck because of the Bios Password .My password wont work for some reason, not because i forgot.
I know that it is set to boot from HD only (where's XP) so now i cant install Linux or any other as second OS.

What shall I do?

To reset the password, remove the BIOS battery for a half hour.

contrasutra's answer is correct, but as a possible timesaver, one other simple/stupid question I'd check for is: Do you have Caps Lock on? That may be why your password doesn't seem to work. -- J.W.

i agree with both answer, but there is other alternative which time saver then removing the battery for half an hour, that is : playing with the BIOS jumper, but make sure you can do that, or you can contact your computer vendor for information about your BIOS or ask them to do that because different BIOS have different kind of jumper setting.

I ever used this way for computer in my company
