bios for win and linux?


this may be a stupid question but do yo have to do anything to your bios to run windows and linux on different partitions?

BIOS setings has nothing to do with running your OS.

In Bios you can overclock your system and make a little "tunning" but your OS it designed to work using those settings. BIOS is one of the lowest PC levels and therefore what it does essentially is to initialise your components and to make a test to make sure that they exist or that thay function as they should.

Your OS might work a litle better or even worse because of faulty BIOS settings but IT WILL work.
