Question .bin files = ?

Hi. I have just downloaded LimeWireLinux.bin and also a java program also with the .bin at the end of it. How do I install it, extract it, or whatever? I don't know what to do! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I think that .bin files are precompiled binaries and so one can directly execute them.(first make it executable if it is not)

chmod +x LimeWireLinux.bin ( if it is not executable)

you should be able to just click on it and it should execute, if not do it from the command line by cd'ing to the directory and typing ./filename.bin

if i am wrong, pleae correct me....
