Big Time Newbie & Sendmail

Hi everyone,

I am a bigtime newbie and I am trying to get my head around this sendmail application. I am normally a Windows administrator but have been thrown in deepend with Linux servers.

First up all I really want to do is to add a new user to the email server. I cannot seem to find a clear way to do this.

Can someone please help me..

Thanks in Advance
Colin

I feel your pain!

Hey there!

First off, Welcome to Linux!

Unfortunately, I have no solution for your sendmail problem except to suggest switching over to Qmail. Sendmail is a very large, very old, very difficult to use package. Especially if you're just learning Linux, I would definitely recommend not using sendmail if at all possible.

Sorry I can't help with your problem, but perhaps you will be able to switch to Qmail.

Cheers!
