Big Problem with all terminals on this install of linux
I am sitting here trying to get ideas from my other thread to help me fix like 10 problems well maybe 5 problems. But every time i go to the terminal or any code window here on linux most updated Ubuntu i put sudo and what ever the command. Then i go to enter the password for my mothers account. well my mothers profile password what ever you want to call it. then it dose not type any thing it just stays in that space. can someone please tell me how to fix this it happens on any window that i can write any code or any command.
Personally I'd advise getting used to it as it currently runs - bad habits like asterisks mean you either end up doing the same fix on other machine (risky) or being thrown when you can't.
Just take a breath and concentrate when you type in your passwd - its not that hard honest.
nvm i thought something was broken seeing as i did see stars for like a week of the os. but now that i know the password is still getting entered i do not care thank you guys.
