Between GRUB , LILO and Acronis OS Selector 8.0...The contras & advantages

Gud Mornin' Guys (sigh)

i need ur opinions...i'm currently using GRUB bootloader /w RH9 and WinXP Pro....so...how about LILO and Acronis OS Selector...can i change from GRUB to LILO or Acronis OS Selector..or i just can't...can u all describe somethin' about the CONTRAS and ADVANTAGES of using these 3 boot loader...i think this post may be USEFUL 4 someone just new to linux like ME..thanx 4 reading this post..

i used to use Acronis OS Selector 5

the big advantage to it was that you could use it to partition hard drives with fat or linux partitions and it could resize partitions as well

lilo and grub are bootloaders only
they load the appropriate files for the OS to launch

personally, i tend to stick to Lilo
I've only had problems with Lilo when the MBR gets messed up, whereas Grub sometimes throws up Error 28 "could not fit into upper memory" problems

I have never had any problems whatsoever with Grub. If it ain't broke......
